First Baptist Church, Longview began a Hispanic mission, Iglesia Bautista Nueva Esperanza in 2006, to reach the growing Hispanic population in the Longview area.
Bible study begins at 10:00 a.m. and worship follows at 11:00 a.m. Both are held on the 2nd floor of the Recreation Outreach Center (ROC).
In addition to the Sunday worship service, English as a Second Language (ESL) class meets every Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Beaty Christian Education Building, room 314 (a snack supper is provided). The ESL ministry continues to attract new students. The ESL classes run from September –early December and from January –May.
