Preschool Guidelines
Infants & Toddlers (0-24 months)
Please help us provide a comfortable, safe, and stimulating environment for your little ones by following these guidelines:
-
Every diaper bag must have a tag and all items must be labeled. This includes pacifiers, bottles, blankets, toys, and clothes. Please send a change of clothes.
-
Bottles should be completely prepared at home. (Powdered formula pre-measured is fine.) Send a bottle of water if you think it will be needed.
-
Do not send jars of baby food; we are unable to feed solids. Crackers and cherrios will be provided.
-
Please do not send a child who has fever, vomiting, or diarrhea within the last 24 hours.
-
Our teachers are not permitted to administer oral medications of any kind. Topical medications may be used if requested by the parent.
- A room is available for nursing mothers.
Early Childhood (2-5 years old)
Our goal at First Baptist is to provide key relationships and opportunities for learning Bible truths through play, music, storytelling, and art. We ask that our parents partner with us to create the best possible experience for the children by observing the following guidelines:
-
Please do not bring any toys from home. We provide activities that will help the children focus on a Bible concept.
-
A snack is provided in all classes. Please alert your child’s teacher of any food allergies. Because of other children in the class, we ask that you do not bring other food into the room.
-
All personal belongings should be labeled. A change of clothing is recommended.
- Please do not bring a child who has had fever, diarrhea, and/or vomiting in the last 24 hours.
